The offering
The AI Strategy & Governance Scan is the sole offering of Praesum.ai. Not because we lack other capabilities — but because this is the only thing an executive board truly needs to anchor AI at governance level. Four weeks. With deliverables that are ready to use the day they are delivered.
Praesum works exclusively at executive and board level. Not because we undervalue technical expertise — but because AI governance begins with the people who bear accountability for strategy, risk and capital.
You want to embed AI in your business model — not as an experiment, but as part of how your organisation creates value.
You want to know which AI investments deliver returns and which destroy capital — with a framework to measure and course-correct.
You carry board-level liability for AI risks and want a governance position you can account for to regulators and shareholders.
You face a growth trajectory in which AI governance directly influences valuation, due diligence and exit readiness.
You operate in an environment where accountability is central — and where AI governance is increasingly part of that narrative.
You have AI initiatives, but no central direction. You want to stop fragmentation and start scaling in a governable way.
You have AI initiatives under way, but no central course or prioritisation at board level.
You feel pressure from the supervisory board, regulators or shareholders to make AI governance demonstrable.
You want to move faster with AI — but find that governance ambiguity is slowing you down rather than simply being absent.
An acquisition, merger or capital round is approaching in which AI positioning and governance are due diligence factors.
Your sector is confronted with new AI regulation (EU AI Act, sector-specific guidelines) and you want to be proactively compliant, not reactively so.
You have presented a new AI strategy — but lack the governance framework to realise and account for it.
Each of the four weeks builds on the last. Each ends with a concrete deliverable or decision point. No interim reports that nobody reads. Only what counts at board level.
We do not begin with a questionnaire. We begin with a conversation. In-depth interviews with the CEO, CFO, and two or three key members of the executive board. We analyse ambitions, ongoing initiatives, current decision-making around AI and what has been tried before — and why it stalled.
We assess your AI portfolio against three axes: strategic relevance, governance readiness and regulatory compliance. Every current and planned AI application is evaluated on where it creates value, where it amplifies risk and which governance frameworks are absent.
The hardest board-level decision in AI is not where to start — it is what to stop. In week three we make that choice together with the executive board. Three to five initiatives are selected on strategic relevance, demonstrable feasibility and board mandate. The rest is explicitly stopped or placed on hold — with supporting rationale.
Week four is not a conclusion — it is an opening. We deliver the complete package: compact, immediately usable and presentable to the executive board, the supervisory board and external stakeholders. The presentation of the Blueprint to the full board is part of our engagement.
Every document we deliver is made to be used — not to disappear into a drawer. They are written for the boardroom, for regulators and for shareholders. Not for consultants.
Praesum presents the Blueprint in person to your executive board. That is part of every engagement — not an additional service.
